Title: duo uh-oh (aka, my redbook audio seems to be going wonky)
Post by: CosMind on July 25, 2007, 06:45:53 AM
so, in a bizarre turn of events, the redbook (cd) audio on my duo seems to be taking a dive.
whenever i turn it on, any cd audio is inaudible (basically, i don't get the cd music, but all board-driven sfx/jingles/etc. are fine).
however, it only remains as such for a few minutes - then the cd audio quickly blends back to audibility, and remains.
strange...  almost as if it has to "warm up" or something.

i've had this particular duo for about 10 years, but this just started occurring a couple of days ago.

anyone else ever run into this issue?  if so, any suggestions for remedying it?

This is a common issue, including the whole "warm up" issue.  Check out this thread.
