Hey new guy here um recently bought a turboexpress mint. I was informed on a problem that the screen works but has no picture, I do have sound the screen does light up but im getting no picture :x. Anyone know how to fix this? Or have a link to something regarding this?

If a previous owner took the unit apart for some reason he may have forgotten to hook the ribbon cable back up.
Or it's possible the capacitors in the video circuit have leaked and gone bad.

Crap thanks man ill take a look at it Hope it isn't shot mean i bought a broken one and have to get a new one geeze.

If it turns out to be the capacitors you can always just replace them yourself if you can use a soldering iron and your fingers are steady enough. The TurboExpress PCB is just cramped enough that I have a tough time with it because I'm way too shaky. And my fingers are too big.
Here's hoping it's just a disconnected ribbon cable.

well i looked in it everything even took apart the LCD screen everything is in tact nothing is loose. I think the LCD is shot gonna have to get a replacement hope i can get something like that.

meh just gonna take the easy way out and buy a new one saves time and aggervation of searching for the problem.
-
can i have your old one?
-
heh already put up for sale on the neo-geo fourms for 50$ shipped.

you will never find an lcd screen that small with that resolution. Good luck finding a new TE.

Turbo Zone Direct still has a few brand new TE's left. They have all had the audio capacitors replaced with ones less prone to failure.
