Prity darn cool...although rather expensive unless you are a true collector...in which case you would proably want the monitor with it as well.

Despite what the auction says, this is not a dev system. Its pretty cool, but I'd rather have an LT, or a Divers Dreamcast, or a number of other overpriced things like that.

My favorite thing is the way it looks, honestly. All chunky with gold lettering and such...

SignofZeta is right; that system does look pretty cool, especially the gold lettering!

I wonder if its compatible with the cd-rom suitcase?

No. There is no way to hook a CDROM2 to it. The PCE portion is just shoved into the box and shares the same PS, and video outs as the computer. Its kind of stupid and pointless. They did the same thing with a Mega Drive once, I'm pretty sure.

I guess it would save space, which is an issue in a cheap Japanese apartment....

I don't know if there's a Sharp Megadrive computer, but there is the Teradrive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_TeraDrive).

wow..and seems that the item isn't located at one place altogether, but how to imagine? may be the X1 is located somewhere in japan (lord only knows where), the keyboard in HK and the accessory in osaka?

Damn that sucks. I am not sure if it is worth the million bucks it goes for now.
