Hi everybody, btw., I Everything else works, but when I press the run button, the "PC" light comes on, but the CD doesn't spin. Also noteworthy: There is a very low sounding "click" noise whenever I press the run button that comes from the CDrom2 unit... and when I detach the CDrom2 unit from the briefcase from the dock and plug in the adapter by itself, it will not play music CDs, or anything at all. It seems to only function when attached to the main briefcase unit.
Well, if you have any suggestions, they would be appreciated.!~!!!!

I have the exact same problem you have. With about 8 systems here. All have the "PC" light, the low click sound, but no play, even when separated to play audio.
Someone out there HELP

Hey D-lite... I was thinking of getting a multimeter, opening up the thing, and seeing what could be wrong, you seem to have more experience than I do at these things... do you think it is a good idea?

This might be a wild assumption, but perhaps maybe it's the drive motor?
