Title: Are the Turbo Duo AV cables the same as the PC Engine Core Grapx ones?
Post by: Nintega Turbine Trio-CBS on August 31, 2007, 08:11:41 AM: My AV cable that came with the used Core Graphx II I bought from Japan is on its last legs. I have to play with the video yellow plug to get a good reception. Will the Duo AV cables work on a Core Graphx?

They will when i pickup a coregrafx a few years back.

I ended up getting some av cables from ebay that were label for the,Duo and the cables work fine on the coregrafx.

Be careful of sellers offering 'brand new' Duo/SMS cables on eBay. There's one guy who's been selling some garbage ones for years, and basically told me to 'eff off' when I informed him how bad they were.

That's one thing you do gota be careful on when getting av cables from ebay.

Then there's having a duo modded to have av jacks.Wich takes care of..the problem as well.

So should I get one from Turbo Zone Direct then? Are they reliable?

Maybe I'll have better luck than you with TZD. I can't seem to find a good PC Engine/Turbo Duo AV cable on ebay. All they sell are those crappy universal PCE/SMS/Genesis AVs Black Tiger mentioned.

Nice find! But I am a little scared of this seller because of his questionable payment method. He is reliable? How do I know how much I'll be spending since it is in English pounds? And how many days did it take for that cable to come to your house?

Post by: Turbo D on September 03, 2007, 09:30:37 PM: you can always make your own, thats what I did 8) It costs like .60 for the the din connector and like 4.99 for the av cable. Solder it up and viola; cheapo pce av cable.

Yes hes reliable and pretty fast too, i bought my core grafx from him, if you email him he normally answers any questions about payment methods etc
