Hi there,
First time poster (only recently got a TG-16 and discovered this forum).
Right, I've picked up a TG-16 for (IMO) quite cheap price, but I'm looking into getting the CD addon for it.
I'm not really sure what I'm after though (is it me, or is the PCE/TG-16 quite complicated because of all the different versions?).
I read on another post that the original TG-16 CD-Rom can be used with a PCE/Core Grafx unit, is this correct?
Does this also mean that I could just go out and buy a CD-Rom unit designed for the PCE (the white one), and using a TG-16 CD interface, connect it to my TG-16?
The TG-16 I have is european (runs on 220-240v), and works on PAL tv's (not sure if it runs at 50Hz or 60Hz though - I'll check). I presume I'll have to get a CD-Rom that runs in the same way (ie, 50Hz and 220-240v)?
The next problem is the HuCard that's needed for the CD-Rom (is it actually needed for the TG-16, or is a PCE only thing?). If I had the above setup, could I then use any System 3 card (US/Euro/Jap + convertor), or will it have to be the same region as both machines?
Sorry for all the questions, and my generaly noob-ness, but I'm only just getting into the TG-16 (only used emulators before), and just need to check that I can get a CD-Rom unit easily (I've searched through eBay and quite a few other retro games sites, but the original (black) TG-16 CD-Rom seem's quite rare (I've not found one yet)).
Any help would be appreciated!
(just incase I make no sense):

PCE CD-Rom2:

So, could I use the CD-Rom2 with the above interface + US/Euro/Jap (+ convertor) system card?? It looks like the TG-16 CD and PCE CD are the same (just a different colour)...
Again, sorry for the rambling and stupidness!

They are indeed compatible as shown in these photos that I posted from another thread.
