Title: A weird question for each of you to answer...
Post by: Kitsunexus on September 05, 2007, 05:49:12 PM
OK, this is just a weird thought that came to my head.
What if, while on your deathbed someone gave you the option to live forever as an A.I. in a videogame? You could be put into any game on any system as long as the game had a multiplayer feature that allowed you to play against the CPU (as you'd be the CPU). You could be anything from an Unreal bot to a Bomberman on the Sega Saturn, ANYTHING!
The only catch is that you'd be exisitng in the game, so you'd feel the pain of dying and being respawned and everything like that.
Would you do this, and what game?
EDIT: To make it a little more fair, in games that have no AI, you could be Player 2.
EDIT: I forgot the most important catch: you would no longer have thoughts about outside the game world, you'd only have thoughts related to the game.
