I'm not a fan of 88 weighted keys though, and I have to have synth sounds, but damn, your board is NICE!

Thanks man, it plays real nice :) My grandpa got it for my family last Christmas from guitar center. I mainly use it to play electronica and video game music, but sometimes I play classical like fur elise.

Personally, I use software synths these days, but this is a much better choice that a stupid game console.

I might be cancelling my order because I have to save for a car. :(

Wow, nice keyboard - I have the M-Audio Keystation 49e (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Keystation49e-main.html) with a copy of Reason that I've played around with. I don't play the keyboard at all but I can pluck out a tune once I hear it.

Nice to see some synthlords here on this board. I have a few keyboards. I have a Hammond Organ M3 and an old Farfisa VIP 500.
But as for new synths, I also have an Alesis. The Micron. http://www.wwbw.com/Alesis-Micron-Virtual-Analog-Synthesizer-i128647.music
I also have the Roland Juno G.

Alesis is great for making great synths at cheap prices. The Juno G is not so inexpensive. hehe

Man, ceti! First Star Trek, then ArmageTron, then BattleTech and now synthesizers!? You really know your nerdy categories  !

Haha. Yeah, I've come to accept my inner geek. Well, it's not so "inner" anymore.
I'm just starting to figure out the built in Cakewalk 4 track on the Juno. We should have a pcenginefx synth project. 8)

The Micron is nice, but I'd rather have a Fantom X6 over a Juno G anyday.

Haha. Fair enough. I just didn't want to throw down another $1000.00. I was diggin' into the funds too much as it was with the Juno-G. It's a good comprimise as it has the Fantom sound engine. The Fantom X6 just isn't worth the extra money for my needs.
Synths are not a cheap hobby because you're never satisfied. Even if I shelled out the coin for the Fantom X6, I would still want something more or different.
What I really want next is the Korg Delta. It's a simple little analogue synth, but there's a secret power behind this synth. My friend had one back in the day and we decided to find out what these little rubber stopper were there for. Well, we took them out and underneath were these little dials. Let me tell you this about that. After tweaking with those dials the Delta became a whole other instrument. Before it basically sounded like those Radio Shack Moog synths (which are cool), but after it was a full on beast.

Edit: Sorry. Just changed the link after I realized it went to the home page of the site. :-k

We all have to someday.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Cosmos!

Hell yes man, you speak the truth. They're also not a cheap hobby because a lot of the synth community sets ridiculously expensive prices on parts. We basically have to accept we'll never have a cool modular synth, unless we want to sell our house. :(
But right now the synth I would kill for the most is the Korg X5D or the Korg 01/W. This keyboard family is basically responsible for all the digital synthlead driven arcade rock of the videogames of the 1990's. If I can get that, a Yamaha TG500, a Roland SoundCanvas SC-88Pro, an E-MU Extreme Lead X-1 Turbo, and Alesis QS6.2 with VintageSynth, Hiphop and Eurodance expansions, I WILL BE THE DIGITAL 90'S MASTER!!!!
