First post:
Will the TG16 power supply power the PC engine core grafx with out any modification? The Core grafx I want is missing the original power supply. I am located in Texas if that is needed information.
Cool site, been lurking for a long time now. I am a big fan of TG16 since I saw the commercials in 89. I just bought my first TG16 ever and now I want a core grafx. Summer of 93, I saw SFII import at a mom and pop store and now I have my own copy. I really can't believe it, simple pleasures I guess. What is the difference between Core grafx I and II?
Thanks,

Welcome aboard!
I'm not sure if the power supplies are interchangeable, but someone else here can probably answer that. If I may suggest, since you're new to the Turbo world, that you should purchase a PC Engine Duo R (or RX) instead of a Core Grafx or any other Japanese system since it will allow you to play both CDs (CDs are region free) and Japanese HuCards. Since you already have a TG16, you can just play American Turbo Chips (HuCards) on that and play everything else on your Duo R :) . The TG16 + PCE Duo R combination is the least expensive and most effective way of being able to play all of the TG16/PCE media.
There is no difference between the Core Grafx I and II except some slight cosmetic difference (different names, different font color, slightly difference shape).

The TG-16 AC adapter powers the white PCE core so as long as the grey CoreGrafx I has the same power requirements it will work.
