I love Paint. ^___^
-
Or perhaps you use it because it is FREE and included with every copy of Windows! :)
-
Screw Paint. I use Gimp, which is free and much more powerful.
-
I guess you are just a free software kind of guy
-
Don't underestimate MS Paint, you guys! I actually made some pretty good promo posters on it for my anime club years ago. I still remember making a promo poster for "Pizza & Turtles" night for my club's special screening of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon at my local sci-fi convention. You can also import special fonts and high quality screenshots into it.
Hell, I also made some mock screenshot edits for Langrisser II for the Genesis on Paint just so I can show off my skills at the Hiryuu Honyaku game translation forums.
In short, MS Paint rules! :D

I kept thinking that you were saying "porno posters", not "promo".
-
gimp is bad-ass. basically a free photoshop 8)
-
MS Paint is excellent, it's gotta be the best Microsoft program by far and is one of the few non-open source programs I use.

LMAO! Dude, I wish I could be that daring!

Almost, but not quite. As capable as The GIMP is, it will never replace Photoshop until it supports CMYK and other non-RGB/greyscale colorspaces and cleans up the interface substantially.
Don't get me wrong, I use The GIMP at home (and Photoshop at work), but I wouldn't consider them in the same league just yet.
-
I've used Gimp to mess around but use cs2 for all of my deeds. I think that Gimp is a great alternative though. If only they incorporated cmyk :-k
-
What would YOU do personally with CMYK, turbo D?
-
I would use it to make a portrait of you Joe
-
But my portrait is just fine in RGB!
-
i dunno anything about gimp, but PS/CS2 is such powerfull and gives you sheer infinite possibilities an ordinary mortal never may to obtain using all of them.

What he said,
I only ever use paint for pixel art.
