Hi all. I've been looking into expanding my pce/tg-16 game collection lately, and I'd like to get one of the power league/world class baseball games, but I've noticed there's like, 5 of them. So I'd thought I'd get some opinions from the experts: Which one is the overall best?
Also, what are some good arcade CDs (that wouldn't be too ridiculously expensive to find)?

Top quality (real)Arcade Card CD games that are cheap-
Kabuki Itouryoden
World Heroes 2
Fatal Fury Special
Art of Fighting

I wrote a Power League III mini-review (http://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=2047.msg40947#msg40947) that explains why I prefer the first one. Those are the only two I've played so far, though.
And yeah, Art of Fighting and Kabuki Itouryoudan are cool ACD games.

Most Arcade Card games are super cheap so you might as well just get them all since there are so few. Sapphire is expensive, so is Wrestling Angels for some reason. I think most of the other ones are less than $20, if not less than $10.
-
Yeah, you could say that. I was GIVEN a brand new shrinkwrapped copy of FF2 once because my friend who worked at Hudson had a whole case of them for some reason.

The ACD games Black Tiger listed are all good buys. Kabuki Itouryoden is probably the best game that's unique to the PCE/ACD that can be found for a reasonable price.
Battlefield Wrestling sucks.
Quest of Jongmaster looks cool but it's probably unplayable unless you read Japanese.
I like Strider and Mad Stalker but don't pay an arm and a leg for them.
I own World Class Baseball (PL1), Power League 4 and Power League 93. Unfortunately, I've barely played any of them so I'm not much of an authority.
The graphics in PL4 are an improvement over #1 and most of the menus are in English, which is nice. The music in 93 seems to be the best and the graphics are a tiny bit better than #4 but the menus are in Japanese.
I looked them up on PCECP and, for whatever it's worth, PL1 is a 2 meg game, 2-3 are 3 megs, 4 is 4, and 5 & '93 are 6 megs.
Looking at the screenshots on PCECP I'm guessing that PL4 is the last sequel with mostly English menus.

I don't think it matters which Power League you get as they're all pretty similar, especially II - V. Of course I haven't played them extensively to know.

Hmmm.I don't really recall Power League IV being in english. Not unless your referring to the stats. The game was so hard I couldn't even hit the ball. The only cool thing about the game,it would show highlights if you hit A homerun or something. Also the graphics are pretty bad.You guys are A little to generous sometimes.

I never said the game was in English and I never said the graphics were good.
