What size are the 4 Allen screws on the SuperGrafx? Are they some kind of funky metric size? I've always wanted to open that sucker up. I love screwing and unscrewing Allen screws. It rocks.
-
I saw through your disguise of this perverted joke, but I'm laughing anyway.
-
Joe, do you even have a SuperGrafx?
-
Of course I don't, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to take it apart!
-
i wish you a great success with that intention, joe.
-
Do post pics. ;)
-
Nobody's ever tried to open up a SuperGrafx with an Allen wrench set before?
-
I took one apart with an ax, a rusty ax.
So, who's this Allen chap you're speaking of?

allens are out torx are in!
torx rox!
-
Torx are lame and wimpy. When something is built with Allen/Hex screws, that means it is built Ford Tough!

Are you being serious? Of course people have taken apart SGX before, and they didn't need a Allen wrench because those aren't screws in the first place. They are just decoration.
I would guess 5mm.

Of course he is! Joe's always serious, like the Amish.
-
:o He was serious? ROFLMAO
-
Serious like a heart attack (and just as funny)!
I would guess 5mm.
Gotcha! I'm eyeballing someone else's SuperGrafx now and I'm going to grab a 5mm Allen and start twisting!
**time passes**
WTF?! I totally messed up that SuperGrafx! Awww man!!!
those aren't screws in the first place. They are just decoration. a$$hole. Please die.
Awww shit! I knew something must be awry when they wouldn't turn and instead easily stripped. Does the PC-FX have decorative Phillips screws, by chance? I want to take that apart, too!
-
Joe, you have nipples, right? I'm coming right over to milk them!
-
Yeah I've got four. I'll set up the video camera and put on a g-string like you requested.

Actually, wear a D key from a Korg Wavestation. It's much more becoming.

I hope he's able to completely remove the sperm stains from his SGFX
-
I was actually able to open up that part of the super grafx about two years ago, the only thing i was able to find were the crushed hope's and dream's of people who wished they had released more than one game every six or so months back in 89/90/91.
-
Wow, it comes preloaded with despair! The SGX is even more awesome than I ever imagined!
-
I wish that the SuperGrafx hadn't failed. I also wish that sega released the neptune. Oh well, its a tough world :)
-
What about the Jupiter, or more importantly, Uranus?
-
the Jupiter? My anus? I didn't know sega was going that far,
-
Apparently SEGA ran in to some problems with Uranus.

Yes and i was one of those people , i would always wait for the diehard advertisements to see if a new super grafx game was being released, oh and this might be of interest to some, i received an advertisement book from either diehard or gametronix and in the book there was a screen shot of strider for the super grafx, the screen shot was from the jungle level, the part where women are standing on top of triceratops and piranha are jumping on you.
This would be the farthest ingame screen shot that I'm aware of, that is if it's actually from the super grafx stider

It would be cool if it was, but I doubt it. The bums probably just stole screens from the arcade.
-
This is why I want to start collecting old game mags. :(

Joe, you know... you could modify an SGX to have *real* allen head screws. That why you could have the satisfaction of removing them and re-inserting them over and over again at your whim. Seriously.... those allen head screws are tempting 8)
