Title: neo geo games on memory cards?

claims that the neo geo had games on the memory cards in Japan only. The main neo geo artile says nothing about this.

First I've ever heard of this. Might be a mistake. The memory card is too small for a Neo game.

I swear I'm going to actually play with headphones one day. More arcade games need that feature.

The card allowed you so save your spot at home and then pick back up at the arcade or vice versa.

It certainly wouldn't be much of a game since the memory cards are just an original form factor PCMCIA cards with a whopping 2KB of RAM and a battery.

Post by: SignOfZeta on November 09, 2007, 07:53:49 AM: Since Pong, the arcade version anyway, is a game based on discrete logic (ie: no microprocessors or memory), it can't really be stored on a memory card anyway.
