Title: Which ROMpler electric guitar sounds more realistic?

OK, if you had to pick which sound sounds more like a real electric guitar, which would you choose?
or ?
Obviously, there are some other great contenders out there (namely and the ), but they don't count in this poll (because one is a Kontakt library and one is damn near impossible to find).
And honestly, I really don't care if you can play the guitar, nor do I care to learn myself. I simply want to know what you think sounds more realistic. I'm not even really considering either one of these boards, just an honest question. (Though these two have been on my mind before...) Now that we have those posts fielded, what do you think?

Whatever Capcom used for the SNES version of UN Squadron (best shooter EVER MADE according to some dorks who did a countdown). Just listen to those twangy guitar "samples". Makes real music sound like ass. Also makes me want to rupture both of my eardrums, but that's beside the point.
Anyway, judging by the low-quality of Youtube mono sound, I'd say the Yamaha sounds a bit better. I'd have to hear the Roland without the other instruments. Still, the Yamaha seems to have excessive strumming noise at the beginning of each note, as if someone is rubbing a microphone on the carpet.

You jest, but have you heard Rock and Roll Racing on the SNES? They did not have ordinary musicians, they had sound design gurus and sequencing GODS. Amazing, amazing tracks, not just ordinary GM conversions. 0_0

I have heard it, but I don't recall being too impressed. Been a loooong time. I was impressed by SNES Super Off Road guitar, though.

EDIT: OffRoad sounds WAY too synthy, but I'll let it slide because it's TIM FOLLIN! HE RULES!
And I do agree with you, the Yamaha's attack on every note is ANNOYING. :(

They both sound pretty good to me, but it's hard to tell with the awesomeness that is youtube audio quality.

Definitely good, but severely lacking in bass/low frequencies. But that's the SNES for ya. I wonder why this much effort wasn't put in to original music for the SNES? Instead we got the synth orchestra ad nauseum.
