Title: lots of TurboGrafx stuff and my gameboy collection going up for sale on ebay
Post by: rag-time4 on November 23, 2007, 09:53:07 AM
Hey everyone, I'm going to use part of my Thanksgiving break from school to finally start clearing off my ebay table.

In addition to the videogame stuff, I would also like to sell my Heroclix collection, but I'm going to be listing those sometime in the future. Anyone who is into Heroclix and is looking for any particular pieces feel free to message me either here or on ebay and we'll see what we can do.

My ebay id is Lioncub10 (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZlioncub10QQfrppZ50QQfsopZ1QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0)

I'm going to be listing stuff over the next few days but I'm going to post a list here of everything that's going to be going up that's videogame related. I'm planning on just doing straight auctions starting at a penny + shipping, except for my new/sealed USA copy of Ys III, which is going to be higher priced.

It seems like a cool game. I haven't taken the time to play through it, though. It is definitely remeniscent of Keith Courage in Alpha Zones for TurboGrafx... it seems like the battles are side-scrolling action sequences!

I bought a complete copy so I'm selling my loose one. The sticker on the back covers the official sticker that is found on the back of the famicom cart.

Sorry if I broke a rule by posting in both places on the board. I figured it would be ok since I've got both US games and Japanese games going up for sale...

Thanks

Everything on the list is now up on ebay, except for the new ys III. I got an email from someone regarding my international shipping charge for TurboGrafx games... I'm planning on looking into it at the post office on Monday.

Any suggestions or info would be appreciated!

Nah you didn't really break any rules, I just left a thread open for posts to make things easier and more organized for people. Plus what turbo D said  .

If you want to save yourself a trip to the post office, look up the rates online (http://pe.usps.gov/text/Imm/Immctry.html).

Necromancer, thanks for the info. I probably am overcharging!

I'm going to bring a couple sample packages to check things out.

Bah... I've never been much for legwork... :P

You're not overcharging at all, international shipping is a pain in the ass and rates just went up again recently, plus you have to buy boxes/packing materials or else stuff gets crushed or broken.  People from Canada & Europe are always really cool about paying for good packaging though, but every person from asia and south america I've ever dealt with are f*cking tightwads and I refuse to ship to those continents now.

In case anyone is wondering what happened to the complete Ninja Spirit that disappeared from the list, I'm trading it to Ceti Alpha for his Fighting Street disc.

After sending Ceti's Ninja Spirit, I found that I am overcharging for shipping.

Since most of the turbografx games have bids, I can't revise them an adjust the shipping.

Be that as it may, I'm willing to offer $5.00 off shipping for international, non-us bidders on the TurboGrafx/PC Engine single-game auctions. This means that instead of the international shipping starting at $8.75 and adding $0.25 for each additional, you will start at $3.75 and add $0.25 for each additional.

If you happen to win one or more TurboGrafx games, send me an ebay message with the keyword(s):
PCENGINEFX SHIPPING DISCOUNT

Any of the bigger stuff like the TurboGrafx lot or the boxed gameboy advance games and so forth are not subject to the discount. The discount only applies to the single TurboGrafx / PC-Engine games.

This only applies to non-US bidders. I'd much prefer to ship via priority mail within the US.

Yo, I thought I'd let you know, that the Turbo Express/Game Gear case you have, is actually for Atari Lynx, though, the 2 I have, specifically say Atari Lynx on them, but, I believe I bought atleast one of them, in the original box.  It's wierd that there's a Turbo Grafx sticker on yours though :-k
