Title: Dracula X question
Post by: Sinistron on November 28, 2007, 06:39:17 AM
Can someone tell me what stages hold the prisoners?  I freed the playable chick, and two others- but I believe there's one prisoner left.  I beat Dracula and it's telling me my game is 98% complete.  Also- I'm assuming there's different endings for Richter and Maria- but are they also different if you free all prisoners?

The prisoners are held in stages 2, 3', 4', and 7; and yes, the ending is different for 100% complete.

There was a very useful map somewhere with all the hidden stuff but I can't find it anymore.

No, it was like one huge map with all the stages. But thanks for the link :)

Dracula X was programmed in Mexico. I hope this provides sufficient answers to all your questions.

Thanks,

See though after looking at these maps I honestly feel like I freed all of those prisoners.   One thing I notice however is a riverman on the Lake Bridge board that I've never seen before.  Perhaps he has something to tell me- in Japanese.  ](*,)

He just takes you directly to the next level, I believe it's the 3' level he takes you to.  It bypasses fighting the boss.

It was a prisoner I missed after all.  The one where you have to hit all of the frog statues to make a lower path appear...  although after finishing with Maria at 100% I noticed her ending was the same as it was for 98%.  Was a little tougher for me to finish without Maria but I did that too after a few tries.  Also first time for me I stumbled upon that hidden room in Dracula's level with the invisible stairs.  Was happy about that one but then was disappointed that it was mostly money bags.

Are you sure? I've never noticed a different ending? There is a different ending depending on which character you play with, that's all as far as I can remember.

I'm never wrong, so I must be sure.  I ending doesn't change when you finish as Maria, but as Richter he will ride a horse during the credits for less than 100% and will drive a coach for 100%.  See this page (http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/td/a/dx_1.htm) for further proof.

You're damn right, Necromancer. I've gone through that game over and over again and I never noticed that!
