So what's the deal for TG16 owners? Can we use PCE or DUO (either Japanese or US) controllers? The reason I ask is because I'd like to get some avenue 6 game pads but will they work or is there some kind of adapter I can buy? or am I stick having to buy a Japanese duo? and If I do have to buy a japanese duo, is there a change (other than controller) from the duo, duo r or duo RX that matters?

I think you'll need an adapter. Check the faq.

thanks for the link, I checked it out and it says that I might be able to find one at buy-rite, so I checked them out but no luck, anybody know any where else that I might find one? thanks again..

www.tzd.com (http://www.tzd.com/) perhaps?

tzd has the adapater TG16--->Duo adapter. I'm not sure if they have the Duo--->TG16 adapter or where you can get one. Did turbo even make such a thing? I would think not since the Duo replaced the TG16 but it'd be nice to know.

I just hate the idea of having to buy a new system just so I can use a 6 button controller...ugh...

I know what you mean. BTW, where can you/or did you pick up a PC Engine Avenue Pad 6? I need em for Street fighter.
