Always having to recharge the batteries, etc. If they could make some kind of eternal power pack then I'd be all over them, but for now I'll just have to deal with the wires which really isn't difficult.

Post by: nat on January 02, 2008, 11:13:45 AM: They're pretty cool. Since I don't mind swapping batteries, they're OK. I've only had to change the batteries in mine once. They apparently last just short of forever.

Unlike, say, a Wii controller where you have to constantly change the batteries.

How rare are the receivers? And how much?

DreamStars has a new one right now for only $84 ( which I think is a great price!). I bought a new one from them a while ago for $110! Ya, I feel like a tool now that they lowered the price :x

85 bucks sounds reasonable. Even the $110 you paid isn't that bad. It's only 25 bucks more; though I guess that money could have bought you one or two more games.

You win some, you lose some. :) I guess it all depends on how bad you want it at the time.
