Those are pretty sweet.

I definitely do NOT want. Wireless controllers annoy me. Always having to recharge the batteries, etc. If they could make some kind of eternal power pack then I'd be all over them, but for now I'll just have to deal with the wires which really isn't difficult.
-
They're pretty cool. Since I don't mind swapping batteries, they're OK. I've only had to change the batteries in mine once. They apparently last just short of forever.
Unlike, say, a Wii controller where you have to constantly change the batteries.
-
I rarely have to change my Wii batteries. Maybe that's because it's never powered up?
-
Looks kinda bulky. I would just make an extension cable instead.
-
nectaris; if you buy these, you still need to acquire the receiver for them. I enjoy using mine. The battery life is pretty good too!

How rare are the receivers? And how much?

I'd say to expect to pay between $80 and $110. These prices are for "new" condition ones too! DreamStars has a new one right now for only $84 ( which I think is a great price!). I bought a new one from them a while ago for $110! Ya, I feel like a tool now that they lowered the price :x

85 bucks sounds reasonable. Even the $110 you paid isn't that bad. It's only 25 bucks more; though I guess that money could have bought you one or two more games.
You win some, you lose some. :) I guess it all depends on how bad you want it at the time.
-
I wanted it pretty bad, haha. That $25 could have been the shipping cost.

eek...might have to wait awhile for that the...lol
-
If you can find a used one, it will be cheaper. The only person on ebay that I've ever seen selling one was dreamstars. Some dude on this forum had a pretty good deal on a set awhile ago, but it went fast.
-
yea...$ is to tight as it is..I got scammed ona TG-16 base system a couple weeks ago, not a lot $ wise...just burns me....
Thanks for the tips though :)
-
I'll deal with my extension cord for now, thanks.
-
I cant stand using wireless stuff like this alot of the time. The wii remote is the only one I have felt fine with.
-
That's a pretty sweet deal and like nat said, the batteries (four AAs) last a long time.
-
I have a wireless joystick for the turbo- it's a clunky, noisy, unreliable piece of trash. When we play five player bomberman tourneys- we always stick the newbie with it.
