Ok, as the thread title says, I am a new Turbo Owner (Actually have had it for about 4 months, but never played it!), its currently in Cali with D-Lite getting modified for the Region switch as well as the AV output mod. The CD Addon (which was really expensive by the way... booo) is coming in the next few days. I have the Super System 3.0 Card and Case that is coming with the CD, as well as the 2.0 card too.
What games do you all recommend? What hardware is a must?
I currently have R-Type, Bonks Adventure, and Bonks Revenge. Dracula X is on its way (pretty much the reason I bought this entire mess :) )
I 'preciate your input!

Bomberman (or '93/94)
Ninja Spirit
The Legendary Axe
Alien Crush
Devil's crush
Super Star Soldier
Galaga '90

For the hardware, I'd recommend two things:
- Arcade Card Pro -- this will allow you to play every single CD based game out there (minus Altered Beast, in which you need a System 1.0 card due to a bug, but that's no big loss).
- Tennokoe bank card. Allows you to back up your memory, which fills up quickly, especially if you play RPGs.
Oh, and you don't really need the A/V output mod on the Turbo if you're going to put the CD Add-on, as the CD-ROM attachment has the a/v output built in. If you were going to mod it, you should probably just go other types of output, whether it'd be SVHS, SCART, component, etc.

I would say you definately want the controller extension and probally the multi-tap.

You should probably list what type of games you're most interested in, there's too many great games for us to recomend.

nice one..have fun with it :)
and welcome aboard.

I am a big fan of fighting/side scrollers/FPS and RPG's.

Pick up all the SNK Neo Geo ports. You'll need an arcade card.
Also, Flash Hiders, Kabuki Itourydan and Street Fighter II CE. I hear Asuka 120% is good, also, but I don't own it.
Pick up a 6-button pad. I recommend the original NEC Avenue 6-button pad but others will disagree.
For sidescrollers, I like the Valis series. My favorites are Valis III and Valis IV.
RPGs, if you can stomach a bit of Japanese, Anearth Fantasy Stories is a must-own. There is a comprehensive website (in English!) by one of our very own members so you can't get stuck.
Also the Ys games are fun but not as holy as some people will lead you to believe. I like Ys III the best-- it's a sidescrolling action RPG. The other three (I, II, IV) are overhead view. All four are available in English, however.
