Work for me.
Every day it's usually the same routine barring any big happenings at work. Get to work, do some morning paperwork, open a window for the forums, and keep it in on the taskbar as I do my thing. I'll check most frequently during from 7-12 PST from M-F since this is the time I'm usually at my desk.
After 12 I'm out and about and usually don't get to check much until I get home around 3 or 4.
I've noticed patterns of users online during these hours, the usual suspects: Kitsunexus, Necromancer, runinruder lurking. It's like the morning break room, except we're all thousands of miles apart. I'm guessing Kitsunexus and Necromancer are in a similar boat: at work, with a pcefx window open.
runinruder I'm not so sure about since he doesn't say much unless he's got a new review.
Other users like Joe and sunteam seem to pop in at very random times, which makes me think they browse strictly at home when they have a free minute or two.
How about you?

I'm always at work. A law firm in Manhattan and I really should be working. This will sound insane- but I don't even have internet hooked up at my apartment. I usually use the computer at my parents' house when I'm not working- I'm buying an Imac in the next few weeks though.
-
As you guessed, I'm in the same boat as you are nat. I should be working, but oh well.
-
Mainly at home, but when work is slow and the supervisors aren't looking I'll get on. ^_^
-
Both?
-
I suppose that would be an "Other" situation.
-
A little of both. I get on in the morning before work, I get on at my lunch break, and I get on after work.
I spend far more time here than playing my Turbo... please don't murder me
-
@ work right now!
-
I only browse from home since I'm unemployed. I pop in whenever I get a chance.

How is that working out for you? How do you get money?
Man I'd love to stay home and be unemployed. I'm so sick of working. It doesn't help that I still have probably 30 years left to deal with it.
-
Usually home. Sometimes work. Sometimes other.
-
I had a part time job but lost it about a month ago. I'm looking to get a new one soon. I need cash to buy video games!
-
I figured Turbo D for a pimp. like his icon.
-
I tried, but all mah hoes went out on they own.

how to vote for home/work both?

Almost always at home. My work schedule is very uneven. There are days like today when I'm out the door before sunrise and don't get home until pretty late at night. To make up for the marathon days, there are days when I work only a few hours, leaving me lots of time to putz around at home, playing Turbo and checking in here and stuff like that.
If I'm at home, I usually have my computer on, typically with a PCEFX window open, even if I'm doing other crap. The early-mid daytime hours are my favorite times to actually check the posts. It feels like a laid-back time, with a few good posts here and there from Nats and Necromancers. On a day like today, when I'm at work all day, when I finally get to check the forum there are tons of new posts, including a lot of Chit Chat stuff that I usually don't read anyway, so I just go for the Turbo-related topics that seem interesting.
-
same for me. when i'm at home first thing i do is start up the pc, and keep being online until go to sleep. then i periodically checking several forums, watch movies/tv-series, playing some 8/16bit stuff, talking to oversea friends via skype/ICQ while drink some whisky or a beer etc.

At work and at play.

That actually sounds kind of nice.
I wish I had days that were just devoid of obligations I could sit around and have some "me" time. The only day I get is Saturday, since the woman works until 5 and I have weekends off. If I don't sleep in I've got a few hours to spend doing whatever if I don't have any errands to run or other shit to do.
-
I added a Home/Work Equally option for everyone whining about having none.
-
Mostly at work.
I rarely ever go online at home, except on weekends, maybe once or twice.
With Football season almost over, i will probably go online alot more on Sundays... =(
-
to be home but not to be online is almost like to be kind of dead!

I hate when the power goes out at home.
I never really realize how much of what I do is based on electricity.
I find myself extremely, extremely bored during power outages if I don't have some AA batteries for my GT.

I hear ya. A few years ago Halifax was hit in the autumn by a category 2 hurricane ("Juan") and the city was pretty much shut down for about a week. Then, a few months later, a massive snow storm - coined "White Juan" - dumped 95.5 cm (37.6 in) in one night and again the city was shut down for a week. My GBA saved my from boredom and luckily I had a full battery charge. Zelda: A Link to the Past was my winter hibernation friend. heh

I'm at home, I'm not working at the moment..kinda got some shit to get through.

I spent all day at work on this forum today because of this goddamn new chat mode Aaron installed. I didn't really get anything productive done.
