Title: Rust issues on Hori sticks
Post by: juggernaut on January 19, 2008, 09:12:13 PM
Hi guys.
Just received my 2 Hori's from Japan. One of them has caught a serious Ebola thing. Lots of surface rust. Please see the picture.
Is this common with the sticks? And how can i fix this with a nice result?

It can be if the area was damp or had alot of moisture in the air all the time. Get yea some sand paper, sand and repaint.

That looks like it would be really easy to take apart, sand blast, prime, and paint.

It looks like one of those Hubble Space Telescope deep space shots. But yeah, shouldn't be too hard to fix.
