Hello ALL,
:o :o :o finally got myself a PC-FX on past friday. WOW, after all these years finally got my hands on it. what a great looking machine.
got it from Game Antique shop in Hong Kong for about USD100 together with 3 games (RPG's though), but dont' understand the japanese in it.
my question is,,
1. can someone suggest me some good games for it ? (prefer action)
2. seems all the games are in japanese ? any english ones ???
anyway... thanks so much and great to see you guys here in the FX forum.

A few games have English menus, but nothing will be in full english, it was a Japan only machine.
Only 3 real action games:
1. Zenki FX - kickass game, but costs a lot of money and is about 30 mins long.
2. Chip Chan Kick - awesome Bubble Bobble clone. My favorite game on the system. Costs a lot though.
3. Zeroigar - only shooter on the FX. Its fun, but also really expensive.
Team Innocent is like Resident Evil, but its slower and more based on puzzles then monster killing.
Der Langrisser FX is still one of the greatest SRPGs ever made, and very playable without Japanese knowledge.
Blue Breaker is a nice RPG, but it can be a bit overwhelming due to it being quite open-ended.
Miracalcum is a nice traditional RPG thats fairly easy to play.
Last Imperial Prince is an ARPG thats quite nice to look at, though the combat is extremely slow.
Dragon Knight 4 is an OK SRPG but DK1-3 were much better games.
Battle Heat and Tengai Makyou are FMV fighting games, kinda boring if you ask me.
Everything else is mostly a simulation/digital comic/dating-sim/majhong game.

Hello Super Deadite,
thanks for your reply and I will work on the games that you have suggested, they sound as interesting as you stated.
Once again thanks, and I'll be posting more questions haha,,

Little Red Riding Hood Cha-Cha is a neat video board game.
Yuna FX is half digital/FMV-comic and half mini-games. Quite fun.
Power Dolls looks like fun, I've been meaning to pick it up.
Everything Deadite recommended is great too.

1. Zenki FX - Extremely Expensive aprox to 60 USD
2. Chip Chan Kick - Extremely Expensive aprox to 60 USD
3. Zeroigar - Extremely Expensive aprox to 60 USD
Found out some thing,, all these three game above or on those little small CD cases.. but they all are sooooo expensive,, as explained by the shop owner,, these three are new and almost the last games from PC-FX, and he even have difficulites finding them in Japn. but other then these games, all other games are like very cheap.. let's below
4. Team Innocent - Got this today for aprox USD 15.
5. Der Langrisser FX -yep. got this today too for USD16.
6. Blue Breaker nope this wasn't available
7.Last Imperial Prince - will need to wait 2 weeks until he comes back from japan.
8.Battle Heat - also go this today for USD13
9. yuna FX - Yes. this one today too, for USD15
wow, can see big big price ranges from the big hard boxes games vs to the games in those smaller CD packaging.. I wonder why those first 3 games are that rare and expensive..

$60 each is a sweet ass deal for Zenki FX and Zeroigar, and it's a decent price for Chip Chan Kick. I'd take 'em all at that price, especially if they're new.

I agree, get those games cheap while you can. That is not extremely expensive.
I'm glad we have another FX owner here now too :D

Yeah, those are great prices. The only game I got cheaper on that list is Zeroigar, I got for $50.
CCC I paid around $90, Zenki $120.
-
Really ???it's that expensive ?? but I got all my other games for like USD13 ~15 only... anyway,, I'll listen to ya guys, I'll get Chip can kick together with Zeroigar when I go to the shop again.. haha
let ya guys know once I get it.. =)

Zenki is worth it too.
They're all worth it.
They are more expensive not because they are rare, but because they are highly sought after like Dracula X. Once people buy them they never let them go.

Zenki for $60? Thats a must buy at that price. I bought mine here in Japan, and it cost me about $100.
Its an amazing game, and even if you don't like it, you could easily sell it for way more then $60.
-
btw,, USD60 that I mention is "USED", not new..

Yeah, that's what we're saying.
Like Deadite, my copy was bought in Japan for $120. Used.
-
wow.. OK,, that's it then, I'll listen to you guys and get them all as soon as I can and perhaps make some money out of extra copies.. haha
Would anyone like to place order through me ?????
heehee

No, it's not my kitty, but I thought it was very cute and silly to watch.
Also, I just paid 100 for Zenki (used) and 60 for Chip Chan Kick (used), plus I had to pay about 20 dollars combined shipping. As long as the discs they are selling are in good condition, you cannot pass up the 3, 60 dollar games they are selling, you will kick yourself when you pay more later.
