Title: Illust Booster @ Print Booster
Post by: bust3dstr8 on January 23, 2008, 12:15:28 PM
Found these 2 boxed in nice shape for $240. Keranu had an old thread about this, but not much info.
The Illust is a basically a PCE tablet, I'm guessing.

I am wonder what kind of Printer it is, ink ribbon? If the ink supplies are all dried up by now, with no
kind of aftermarket ink that will work for it, kinda defeats the point of this cool gizmo.

Its more of a collectible now, like the Telenet modem.

Agreed.  Even if you had ink for it, there's nothing that could be printed that would be worth the effort (other than as an oddity).

it's more off a plotter than a printer. so roughly said, you put in a pen from the top, and the plotter plots the line on paper!

small pic sorry.
