I finally found the bin and toc file for burning the Super Hucard which I kept since the last time I own a duo. Just pick up another duo and cant seem to remember how to burn it. I have an old copy of Goldenhawk which doen't recognize my burner and the readme file that was in the super hucard directory mention I should used cddao but can't to get it to work. From a turbo fan to another, please help me

You should be able to use any generic burning program that can communicate with your burner. Hell, I burned it on a Mac with Toast.

Do you have Nero or Alcohol 120%? You can burn just the ISO and it will boot fine. Just remember you have to " Burn from an image or ISO" or whatever. Don't use a normal computer CD project and just drag and drop it in - that won't work. With Nero you can bypass the CUE(or in your case the TOC) since it's the first data track anyway.

I have Nero and but it doesn't recognize the bin file.

I think SuperHuCard originally came as an ISO not a BIN.
I'd tell you to go download a fresh copy but it looks like Zeograd's Lair is out of service.

I remember having serious trouble with this but eventually getting it right. Not all the games worked. I still have the CD somewhere but I haven't touched it since the one time I played with it.

Yeah, it's not really worth much of anything other than as a proof-of-concept.
Only about 50% of the games will boot at all and only about 10-15% of them are playable all the way through without severe graphical glitches. It's not because there is some inherent problem running HuCards off a CD, but rather, memory addresses have to be adjusted throughout EVERY ROM for them to work from the CD. It's a lot of work, and whomever created the Super HuCard never finished converting the address calls. It could work 100%, but it doesn't in it's current state.
For me, it's mostly useful for playing the GunHed caravan mode which was omitted from the regular game cart. That is one of the few games that actually works 100%.

You're 100% spot on, Nat. But... there are some other possibilities. Imagine a hucard using CD tracks instead of chiptunes.

Yeah, that too. Maybe someday we'll see something like that....
