Too cute. Who wouldn't love a tireless cat that takes naps?
PS - Everybody should like cats; they're delicious.

I loved it :). It was such a nice little story, with Shimachibi, Katsuo, and Wakame going on their first adventure to the big world, having a conflict with the boss cat Shiro, getting a little lost in the tall grass, and their mother Sue coming to get them and take them back, with them all taking a little nap in the end. Such lovely (and bizarre) things to appear on Japanese television. It even had English subtitles to go along with it :P.
about cats eh? (http://www.tvbabble.com/userimages/user2448_1161654207.jpg)
I don't hate those cats. THEY HAVE MORE FUR THAN ANY TURTLE EVER HAD!

I have a cat myself. However, he is a real pain in the ass. He shits on the carpet during winter time, he hates eating dry food, and he wails at 3:00 in the morning just because he wants to get groomed.
But yeah, I like cats. :)

My cat doesn't like stayin indoors. He likes to run free in my back yard. He also likes to go out at night for some pussy

Samurai Pizza Cats was such an awesome show back then. I made every effort to catch every episode (even in reruns). Not only was it one of the gateway shows to my anime fandom, it was just damn funny! Bad Bird owned! :D

That music sounds like its from My Neighbor Totoro.
Shiro looks like my new cat Myau.
I like how the mother Sue has a man's voice. :P
It seems that Sue fits into the case of "a mis-voiced Japanese character (another possible one that comes into mind is Miss Monday from One Piece, who was a large buff woman voiced by Makiko Ohmoto--the voice actress for Kirby--and had a high-pitched one for her character). They probably were trying to go for a deep woman's voice, but since they were only given a few select actors that may be due to financial or availablity difficulties, this wasn't too possible, so a man had to do her instead.
