Title: What's a Good Price for Dragon Slayer US?
Post by: KingDrool on November 04, 2004, 03:08:34 AM
I just paid $40.  Did I get hosed?  I haven't been able to find this game for months, so I figured it was a decent price.

Did you get the map too?  If you got original case, manual, map and cd in mint then that is a reasonable price.  I've seen them (US versions) average around $35-$50 on eBay.  And if you think you paid too much, think again because I paid around $100 for my mint copy with map, manual, case, etc.  I know it was WAY to much but it was difficult to gage market value at the time.  Plus people don't realize how good the game is beating out Ys I & II.

$40 is a good price, considering the premium people are putting on SCD's these days.  If you didn't get the map (it should have at least come with the original case, cd and manual) than it's still a good price.

Yeah, I got the map, manual, case, etc. and all seem to be in excellent condition.

I've been pining for this game forever, so I probably would have paid a lot more for it.

It's funny how us Turbo fans will pay such premiums for games that other people couldn't care less about and in most cases haven't even heard of.
