Is it possible to connect a 6 button PCE controller to a PS2? I have tried to search the web for a adaptor of some kind, but without any luck. Thx.

I've never seen such a thing, and I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.
-
Quite simple actually. I have several 6 button controllers i want to try out with KOF for the PS2. And it's only because i'm waiting for the Namco sticks to arrive. So there you have it :)

I very much doubt such a thing exists. However, I have the reverse (ps->pce). it's not very good.
-
Anything is possible! I don't have the know how to figure it out though.

There are PS1/2 --> PC-E adaptors, but I have never heard of a PC-E --> PS1/2 adaptor myself.
-
Yeah it's possible. Same concept as building arcade sticks for the PS2. Here's a good source to help you get started - http://wrongcrowd.com/arcade/joystickp1.shtml
I used the same knowledge to make own Atari/MSX -> NES joystick adapter. It's pretty simple.

GameStop was selling limited edition Street Fighter 2 controllers for the PS2 that had 6 buttons. They might be an acceptable alternative.

Those pads suck big-time. I'd rather have an Avenue 6, and those aren't even that great.
