no Idea what I'm doing with all those engines.. but I enjoy buying them still , just a thing to recover my pain when I was a kid and couldn't afford even ONE of them back then, hahaha, so I buy them all back now.

so 15,800 yen,, how much is that in USD ??
that's a lot for a system back in the 80's. pricy pricy.~~
-
Thats $157.55 US by todays standards!
-
the Dollar is weaker now - it was probably even more back then.
-
Very true! The dollar always goes down in value. Saving money is a bad investment, instead buy video games

It was even more than that at one point.
This is a killer deal. To think some people spend twice that on just one game.
-
Damn fine deal, especially boxed and with shipping included.

Your reasoning is backwards. A strong dollar buys more, so it would've cost less in US currency back then.
I'm unsure about the CGII's release date, but in late '92 the exchange rate was about 125 yen to the dollar. That would make it about $126, and if adjusted for inflation, it would be about $190 today.
