Post by: dj898 on November 14, 2004, 02:02:09 PM
this has been on my mind for some time and I meant to seek out the answer but at the end I simply didn't have time to search...

does anyone know whether SuperGrafx with SuperCD-ROM module is equivalent to PC Engine Duo in terms of playability?

As long as the setup needs a SystemCard you aren't able to play the SCD games made by Games Express, like Hi-Leg Fantasy and others. It's because you need to plug in the Games Express SystemCard and that's only possible with a Duo.

ok

from what I read SuperCD-ROM module is System 3.0 level so no need for System card 3.0 right?

And yes the question was for Game Express setup. :p
