Well, I beat the whole damn ga ame! Now I'm a hero! Why are there a bunch of walkthroughs at the bottom of the page? wtf? lol. Even one in german!?!

I would guess it is the same reason there has to be a warning to not put your hands in a wood chipper. ;)

Thank the gods for all the hints, faqs, and walkthroughs.  Without them, I would've wasted hours and hours trying to cut the rope with my ax.  How foolish of me.  :)
