I know he has been selling a lot of goodies, that members have been interested in.
After he just threw 3 games loose into a bubble pack for me, you may want to use
caution when dealing with him.

Hey mygamerman, I'm kinda pissed that 2 of my games came all crushed up. You can ship small boxes in First Class or it wouldn't kill you to spend just $1.50 more for Priority if needed, seeing I paid $9.99 to ship.
I had some old crap Mahjong games to gut to rebuild them luckily. I am going to post this
in our PCFX forums to let others know.
Next time please think of your fellow gamer and
take the small amount of extra effort to ship them secure games.
Looking to hear back from you,

I bought 3 boxed turbo games from him. He sent them in a box, but it had no packing in it! The games and their boxes looked good so I didn't complain. He got lucky that time! He does however need to invest in either some bubble wrap or packing peanuts!
-
I have just gotten my 3rd (or isit 4th) package of games from him...no problems...just guess I got lucky.
-
was there bubble wrap and or packing peanuts?

heavy paaded envelopes...

heavy paaded envelopes...
Those just don't work sometimes. The postal service can stack heavy items on them by mistake/purpose and they get crushed. If hes paying 10 bucks for shipping he coulda sent them via boxed shipping anyway.

Very true..like I said...I've been lucky...so far

Got my,Dungeon Explorer 2 from nygamerman of corse the seller claimed the game was mint wich it was not.
The damn thing had all these scratch's on the disc lamo.
Then i had to get the game resurfaced so the music etc would play right.
It might have been mint dunno, but realy if your gonna have any thing disc based in a envelope the seller should had 'it wrap up in bubble wrap.
Given how much abuse it can take being shipped through the postal service.
So i say buyer beware with nygamerman.

I got a reply from Nygamerman:
Hi im very sorry that happened :( that hasnt happened with any of the dozens and dozens of items i shipped out, i state that its just normal shipping and i only ship priority in box if people request it and want it
again im sorry and glad u had 2 extra jewel cases to fix them u can recheck my feedback everythings been great so far im sorry that happened again
i use those bubble envelopes cause i dont have any boxes of my own and post office charges extra for boxes if u win again please request those and i will be glad to do so :)
again im sorry
Well, looks like the classic case of "I am to damn cheap to buy anything but the bare minimum to ship your
crap buddy and if you think I am gonna look for free boxes or even attempt to use bubble wrap to secure you
stack of games, you are outta your fooking mind."
-
Sorry to hear of your trouble, but it makes me glad that I didn't trust this dude and his padded envelopes. I bought a couple of games from him and paid the extra 2 bucks for priority as a precaution, and luckily he bubble wrapped 'em and stuck 'em in a Priority Mail box. It's probably not worth your time, but you could've filed a complaint with ebay, since it's the seller's responsibility to get the goods to you in the condition stated in the auction listing.

The US Post Office does not charge for boxes. Go online to their site (http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductCategoryDisplay?catalogId=10152&storeId=10001&categoryId=13359&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=11820&top_category=11820), order a bunch and they will come to you for free.
-
Joe is right! You can even order ebay branded boxes, thats what I did!
-
My wife and I have ordered hundreds, and I do mean hundreds, of boxes from the USPS and they have never charged a cent. The guy's full of shit. The only boxes that cost money are the ReadyPost boxes.

Those are Express and Priority Mail boxes; I don't believe the USPS provides boxes for First Class or Media Mail.

I just wrap the priority mail boxes in brown shipping paper when I want to use a different service. I always ship priority to US customers though.
