Not a pad but a great stick to own and play. I like to play Bomberman with this one, because you are able to switch from 8-way to 4-way handling.

Yeah, it would be nice to have a genuine NEC pad, but seeing how expensive and hard to come by they seem to be, I may just get one of those PS>Duo adaptors I've seen...

Does that thing have 6 buttons?

I'm very interested in seeing what it looks like.  I can't find a good resource for pce accessory pics or info even.

My only knock on the avenue 6 pad is the D pad seems looser than a standard Turbo/Pc engine controller.

There is a playstation controller adapter for the PCE/Turbo?  Where can I find this?

That Hori Fighting pad(SNES style) looks very comfortable compared to the standard PCE/Turbo controller.

You can get it at lik-sang; there may be other places you can get it. just look for their pc engine accessories.

However, I recently got one, and unfortunately, it does not work as a 6 button controller. the extra buttons are used for turbo fire.

Cool.  Doesn't really matter to me, I don't play fighting games at all really on the PCE.

Are there any games besides fighters that make use of more than two buttons?

I had a thread at MagicEngine.com that compiled all the games that were 3-button and 6-button compatible. Besides the obvious fighting games:

3-button (instead of hitting "RUN" button): Forgotten Worlds, Bloody Wolf...

6-button: Ys IV (navigating menus) ...

Ahhh, damn it, I can't remember any others. There were a few more "surprises" in there...
