Title: PC Engines and AV hookups

The few pictures of PC engine duo's I've seen, don't have the 'side AV plug' like the US duo does. Why is this? and am I the only one who thought that that was not a small design flaw?

Only the identical PC Engine Duo has the AV port in the same place.

The Duo R & RX have it in the back, since the side AV port was not a small design flaw.
