I recommend Aero Blasters. It's a fun little shooter that has a style that's a bit different from many other TG shooters.

I agree. Back in the day Aero Blasters was supreme. It still is a great shooter. I remember my genny friends shutting their traps up when I pulled out that Turbochip. And it's two player action, so you can't go wrong. But if you play two player, be player 2. It's the better looking of the two ships. 8)
Aside from AB, I definitely recommend Splatterhouse, New Adventure Island (NAI), and Parasol Stars. Necro pretty much summed the US HuCARDs up actually.

I had AB. Its was one of my fav back then. I took it to school in 7th grade, stuck it in my back pocket and some how lost it or got pocketed by a known thief.

Ahh I just love games where you purposely play with the second controller just to get a cooler character  . Did your Genny friends know that a Genesis port came out?

I think they did actually. But they knew that the Turbo version was better. Hell, the TG version of Aero Blasters is even better than the actual arcade. 8)

Perhaps it pulled a Lemmiwinks, and is still shooting up bad guys somewhere in your intestines?

I had Aero Blasters back in the day as well. Great game. Murderously hard, but fun.
I'd also highly recommend Military Madness if you like strategy games. It's one of the best console strategy titles ever!

hehe. I think he specifically said he doesn't like strategy games or RPGs.

Whoops, he sure did. I suppose he can cross that one off my list, eh?

Yes heed necro's picks as they're all tasty though I haven't played Military Madness. I recommend you get a converter somewhere down the line. :-"

For games that I recommend, you can try the titles of Dragon Spirit, Galaga '90, Bomberman, Bomberman '93, Super Star Soldier, New Adventure Island, Air Zonk, and Aero Blasters (those titles are at the top of my priority to have, and are considered, for the most part, to be excellent games to have for the system). Other titles you can try are Psychosis, Splatterhouse, Pac-Land (if the port is decent to play), J.J. and Jeff (a big maybe, however), Space Harrier, and Takin' It to the Hoop. Some others can mention titles that work for you, as well, since I determine these from the best of my knowledge and preferences.
If you also have or plan to recieve a CD add-on to a TurboGrafx-16 or a TurboDuo system, then you can also try the games of Lords of Thunder, Gate of Thunder, Wonderboy: Monster Lair, Fighting Street (you may need to endure rough controls, though), Super Air Zonk, Shadow of the Beast, and Exile. Again, these are only my personal preferences, and others can mention more that are good for you.

Haha I had to stop and think for a moment to remember what Lemmiwinks was. Then I was like "OHH!" and it all made sense  .

I was afraid my joke had bombed.
the one time in a century I make a South park reference... :P

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I have some work to do now. :)

Please do explain what Lemmiwink is :-k. Never watch South Park.

Basically a pet mouse named Lemmiwinks was shoved up a gay guy's butt and the little mouse had to journey through his body the whole episode to exit through the mouse.
