Sup Dudes! I recently scored a white pc engine at a local shop for $30 ( is that a good deal? i hope so, haha.) Anyways, I can't find it on my tv. I don't have any boosters to get sweet a/v power. I'm stuck with rf, anyone know what channel its supposed to be on? I'm using a turbografx rf switch too; thats what it came with for some reason, haha.

I'd say that's a pretty good deal, especially for local. Did it come with any controllers or box too (assuming no)? I don't use RF for mine since it's always hooked up to CDROM2, but I remember reading on here that the channel was in the 60's (lets hope 69, alllright!).

It came with the console, white non-turbo pad, pad-106 ac adapter and turbografx rf switch. I wish it came with the box! :) I tried like every channel on my cheapo Magnavox tv but cannot find it. The dudes at the shop said it worked, maybe I should try on another tv :-k idk.

I did a quick search for ya and found a few threads. One in particular seemed especially reliable:

According to this thread it should be channel 95. A google search corroborates this.
Searching for "pc engine" "channel 95" in google found me:

NCS would probably know best here, so channel 95 sounds like your best bet.
(And here are two other threads I found that seemed much less reliable :)

Edit: also, you might try turning it to channel 95, turning on the PCE, and then flipping to another channel and going back to channel 95. My TV has trouble picking up RF signals, so sometimes I have to do that in order to make my consoles that use RF-video work.

Thanks Lochlan! you solved my problem! I had to set my gay tv to "cable" in order to get a channel that high. It works on channel 95 with the slider set to "l" and channel 96 with the slider set to "ll". It looks better on the second setting for some reason.

That's because Japanese channel 1 and 2 don't exactly match US channel 95 and 96. 2 and 96 are a closer match than 1 and 95, however.
