Nice reviews, thanks for pointing 'em out.  I watched 'em twice, since nat can't.  :P

I just watched the Zenki "review" (not that you can even call it that) and I'm speechless. This guy..... Oh man, this guy.

I couldn't understand half of what he said. He didn't review anything, and he was playing the game in an emulator on a computer that wasn't even fast enough to run the game at 1FPS. I think he got like 15 frames into the game by the time the "review" came to an end.

I'm debating whether it's even worth watching the rest of these things.

The humor value makes it worth it at least ;)

Yah it's not really a review...more like his comments on the game.  I was watching these at work today and I could hardly stop laughing because he pretty much rips every game in his own special way.

I just discovered these.  Ugh, the audio quality is horrible.  I am alternately annoyed and amused by this guy.  Sometimes he is relly funny but often it's just dumb.

Still I watched them all, so they couldn't be that bad.  :-k

But the whole time it made me wish that there were actual video reviews of PC-FX games.

Hmm.. maybe I could do some after I get a capture card.

Magic Engine FX on a P4 over 2Gz with any video card will generally run FX games at 59-60 FPS while recording to FRAPS, occasionally the FPS will drop to 55, but it's perfectly suitable for a review that will not be broadcast on TV.

I did a non-video Zenki review which has some good pictures, actually the best Zenki pictures on the net.  Feel free to link to the review on your store site.

I'll be doing some more in the very near future too, I just have been really busy working lately (and I have to make a Google account still  ).

Sadly (in this case) I am a Mac user.  So emulation isn't really an option right now.

Thank you for the link.  It's really ok for me to put this on my store site?

I don't think Windy would mind a few extra people visiting the site to read the reviews.  I'm a contributer on the site since writing that review so at the very least I can give you permission to link to the review (not to the pics themselves) for the next few days while I formally ask permission.

Just to be sure, I'll wait until you ask permission.

I would love to have reviews on the site.  We have had a few CD reviews submitted (and I think an N64 game review) but that's it.

Yes, you can link to as many reviews on Windy's site as you like, I asked him today about you linking and he said the following: "oh sure thing missa. You dont have to ask LOL"

Thank you.  I linked your review:

If you write any more I would love to read them.

OK, back on topic.

Games like Zenki and Battle Heat would really benefit from video reviews.  It is hard to tell how good they look until you actually see them in motion.  I think that's one of the things people don't understand about the PC-FX.  The games almost always look good in motion ad often look boring in screensshots.
