.. abandoned (or not regulary released) pce games:
http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~pce/a71.htm
japanese only. but comes time, i will translate it.
wondering of which ones protos are around, we don't know yet?
note: some of the games in the list (e.g. armed f) where released, but not under its original maker. like kinda a re-programmed soft or so?!
or just changed its medium -> e.g. daimakaimura..

oh nice find!

How does this list compare to the one compiled by Mr. Covell? I'd check myself, but I can't read neato chicken scratches.

Try a rough English version here (http://209.85.171.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~pce/a71.htm).
According to that list Dead of the Brain 1 & 2 were scheduled for a 1995 release, initially. Funny it took 4 years to finally get those out. I wonder what the delay was, considering the system was officially dead when they finally hit stores.

Also I saw one or two games that were scrapped and released later on the PC-FX (Lunatic Dawn, and I think a Power League game).

Thanks, nat. It looks like Chris's list parallels this one fairly closely.

My favorite is the second to last item - the Power Console. 8)

I'm partial to the Communications Booster myself. I have to wonder what kind of communications it boosted, and how it boosted them.

I assumed that was the Tsushin Booster (http://www.disgruntleddesigner.com/chrisc/TsushinBooster/tsushw.html), boosting communications all the way up to 1200bps. Suck that, dsl and cable!

Ah, thanks for the info guys, i was hoping it was a separate development that they had made some progress in before trashing it in favor of the CD ROM format, cant be too sad though, we did get two of the best if not the best Aleste games ever.
