I can't say a word for the game play but that game has some of the coolest artwork of the PCE/TG16 , hands down. It's also bloody rare as all hell !
Any of the kings/experts on here ever actually play it ?

I did. I've even translated it even though I've yet to type it down and send the whole to Dave Shadoff (I've not given up on this one, gentlemen). The artwork is by far my favourite artwork for the PCE.

If the dude selling this were smart he'd show that front cover.. would love that printed full color on a black tee - DEAD OF THE BRAIN - you'd be hard pressed to find a smarter looking shirt than that.

Hmm, I really question the true rarity of this one sometimes. I've never seen a classic game store in Japan without a copy. Most stores I visit have multiple copies. Its certainly rare due to its late release date, but its a lot more common then the likes of Sapphire, Sylphia, Renny Blaster, and Bizarru.

Hmm, didn't think anyone noticed that auction, guess that means I'll have some competition soon. #-o

it isn't that rare at all and for sure it isn't the rarest game on the PC Engine, as that kremi says. it cost about the price of a mint dracula x and is probably as rare as a down town nekketsu monogatari or puyo puyo tsu. you can find it at any retro centric stores in akihabara with ease.

I wager that this auction will make Nat's purchase look like an outright steal.

Its nowhere near as good as any of those games either.
...well, maybe Renny Blaster...

this was posted only a few days ago. interesting timing.
Though I cannot understand a blessed word, I really dig the music.

Well, I think the game is quite uncommon BUT fact that it was released so late made it a collectable item right from the start. So I guess most of the pc engine fans got their copies back in 1999 (as I did), knowing this would be hard to find later, that's why so many shops have at least one copy.

ok, the first part of your comment i understand, but not so your 2nd. how is this related to the fact, that every store has at least one copy?

I meant that at the time, many stores thought "Ok, this is gonna be expensive in a few years so let's keep some copies in our back store so we can sell it overpriced later".

I only own the pc98 versions of this game. Of course the graphics aren't as good as the pc-engine version, but it has...ummm... more adult stuff in it. I would like to try this one though. I wonder what the game sounds like? I have seen this game go for less than Dracula-X.

The PCE version also has some "adult content" (the cover announces a +18 restriction), but it's rather soft (really, really soft. Shall I say that Kol c.... .. ... ...........?).

Ended up at a tad under $150 with shipping - much lower than I was expecting.

The MSX2 is also light on the porn, iirc a sex scene with some tits with no penetration. Very disappointing. I did like the MSX2 version but it only had part 1, and music was sorta inaudible with it's PSG tracks. If it had FM music the experience would've been better.
