You cant play roms on your DUO, you can only use them on your PC on an Emulator like "Magic Engine", or "Yame".

You can burn CD games, by downloading ISO/MP3.

You can play all your legal homebrew roms on a flash card and Zerograd is working on a CD burning utility(I think that a beta is available that supports a few games) that allows you to burn several legal roms to a disc that will run them on your Turbo/PCE system.

I've never done this (seriously!), but if you take the 4-in-1 TurboDuo pack-in disk... you can swap out the ROMs (well, i think you have to leave Bomberman on there) and replace them with different ones.  I'm clueless on this, but folks at magicengine forums have discussed this (do a search... it was a year or two ago).

Essentially, the TG-16 boots up the ROM from the CD, instead of a HuCard.  The only other game I own that does this is Neo Nectaris (you can boot the original Nectaris HuCard ROM from the CD).  The 4-in-1 is better (3 ROMS on one disk... but of course the menu screen will still say "Bonk's Adventure", etc....)

I remember reading about the CD utility that will let you play ROMs on your Duo a long time ago. If that's ever out and really stable, it will rule indeed!

That would be pretty slick if you could load HuCard Roms off of a cd in a Duo, you could probably fit just about all (if not all) of the games made in the HuCard format on to one disc...

*Cough cough*

Google: "Super Hucard".

Amazing, simply for the fact that it is a great concept, and it *does* work.  There is a lot that you can do with that extra 2 Mbit of RAM on the System 3.0 card.  :)

Certainly.  :)

Make sure that you download the "full version" zip file.

I think that you need a burning program that can do bin/cue (if I am not mistaken).  I use Linux, so I used CDRDAO.

Still working on getting this working... might hit you up with a few questions in a while if a few other things I am going to try don't work for me.  Thanks again.  :)

Edit:
Sweet!  :)  Never mind about any help, I was able to get this going.  Thought the games freeze up on me from time to time.  Not sure if that is   the fact that I am using a TurboDuo (I have heard that some TDs are not good with CDRs) or maybe a change in CDR medium, burning speed or a combination of the two...  Thanks again!
