I was reading about a shooter for the CD rom called Metamor Jupiter, anybody here played it? Is it any good?

i would call it average. but it has kinda weird style and shows up with some very neat effects (lightning of teh 1st boss, background tube-rotation..).
definitelly a worthy to have some fun with, and not too expensive as well.

Its a cool little game. It has a very different feel to it, there is no score at all for example. Once I figured out the different ship phases and that you can actually adjust your speed, it grew on me a lot. Also it was made by Flight-Plan, who oddly enough is most famous for their SRPG games Black/Matrix and Summon Night. I whish they'd do another shooter someday.

It has a number of neat special effects like real-time scaling and rotation, but they really chug. The shaded tunnel effect is really cool and still smooth though.

I like this game even though it has a strange feel to it. It looks like it could have been way better.
Strangely enough for a game of its kind, it uses the back up Ram so you can save at the end of each stage.

It's not great, but I enjoyed its unique quirks/effects enough to buy a copy.
