Hi,
I recently bought a white PCE. And I was thinking about buying the cdrom addon. But I can only find the addon that eats the console for good prices. But according to this compatibilty chart (http://www.pcenginefx.com/main/nec_compatibility_guide.html) they are not compatible with each other or am I just confused?
sorry my english is a bit rusty
If my sentence makes no sense il get straight to it. Can I hook up a white PCE with this http://img518.imageshack.us/my.php?image=leftsideoi0.jpg

I'm really not sure.
There has to be someone here that knows..?

The White PC Engine, Black Core Grafx, and Gray Core Grafx II all have the same expansion port on the back so they are all compatible with the briefcase/IFU interface CD ROM unit. The White PC Engine expansion port will fit in the Super CD ROM unit but there is a very short cable on the left that connects the PC Engine to the Super CD ROM unit and I'm not sure if there is a corresponding plug on the White PC Engine unit. I'll look into it later but your best bet is to go with the briefcase.

also the "briefcase" looks so much sexier than everything else.

I don't see why not -- I've seen the gray CoreGrafx work fine with the briefcase setup. I'd imagine the reverse works the same way. The only thing that the white PCE is missing is the composite A/V port, but that's accessible through the SCD-ROM2 system.

Word life. I enjoy walking out in public with mine, strutting around.. acting important. 8)

well the Grey Super CD Rom is much newer design compared to the briefcase.. I've got Both units, and I feel the loading time and reliablity is better on the Grey Unit. but since I think both are sexy, so I bought both =)
