Title: Whats a fair price for the Arcade card / Arcade card games?
Post by: asshat on March 16, 2005, 12:00:22 PM
I'm looking to pick up Fatal Fury Special (per PCEngineFxTv's review) as well as an Arcade card - but I don't want to be robbed - especially since I already have it for the Neo.  Whats a good ball park?

there are two Arcade cards and it depends what kind of system you have. If you have PC Engine with CD-ROM2 module you need Arcade Card Pro and it aint cheap. Even in Japan I haven't seen Arcade Card Pro under 4000 yen on YJ. Whereas Arcade Card Duo is cheaper at that it usually goes for 1500-2000 yen. I believe on eBay Arcade Card Duo can be had for around $25-35 whereas Arcade Card Pro is for over $40 or more...

To use Arcade Card Duo you need either PC Engine Duo series or PC Engine with SuperCD-ROM module...
to use either of these on Turbo-16/Turbo Duo you will need the hu-card adaptor that will cost you over $100 if you can find one...
