Title: PC-Engine related Nintendo DS games and other recommendations...
Post by: rag-time4 on October 19, 2008, 07:15:19 PM: Hey everyone, I'm planning on getting a DS Lite for my wife, but I have no idea what games to get pre loaded...

Any recommendations for any games related to PC-Engine titles, classic game series, or 2D shooters?

Post by: Lord Thag on October 25, 2008, 08:08:39 AM: While not technically related to anything NEC, the new Squaresoft Legend of Kage 2 plays exactly like you'd expect a modern remake of Ninja Spirit to play. You even have the shadow-self that follows you, just like in Ninja Spirit. It's an awesome game, and only twenty bucks. Multiple characters and unlockable difficulty levels too.

Plus, all three of the Castlevanias are fantastic. Really fantastic.
