I don't remember Optimus requiring 3 AAA batteries... which weren't even on the market yet. Also, the original roller was blue. What kind of scam are they trying to pull?

I believe the Autobot symbol is a "voice box" that takes the AAA's. And the "original" roller came in both blue or grey.

Give it some time, prob after cristmas. The 20th was clearanced after a bit, sored my last one for $25 (orig $50).

The one I owned was blue. Any Transformer that wasn't owned by me was not official and therefore does not and cannot count.

Is that $70 Canadian or something? $70 is the highest price I've ever seen for a G1 re-issue. I paid less than that for my Japanese Masterpiece Convoy.
Plus that voice box thing is hella stupid. I'd seek out one of the million other G1 re-re-re-releases.

Wll you def got a deal on the Masterpiece Convoy as he is around $110 on average (though he is usually the cheapest Masterpiece). I can't WAIT for the Masterpiece Grimlock =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~
