A topic elsewhere (http://www.vr32.de/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=3127&forum=1) had a good idea, so I thought I'd start a serial number listing here for the PC-FX and its accessories.
Post replies with your own serial numbers(including a note of what device they're for), and...please double-check your numbers before hitting THE BUTTON. :b

For anyone who has time, a PC-FX, and a blank CD-R, could you burn:
http://nekozomb.fobby.net/junk/hextest.zip
onto a disc, run it, press Select, and post here with the first few characters(like "08E36..." or whatever) beneath "MD5 for"? And also include your PC-FX's serial number(located on the bottom) as well? I'm trying to figure out how many BIOS versions there are, and if there are any that are still undumped, to dump them.
Example screen of what it should look similar to(MD5 value and the 2-digit byte values will potentially be different):

I was going to get the BMP and mouse serials but they arent on the outsides so I went OHtgroeijyhoijb
and proceeded to play PS3.
are they inside? I will dismantle if they are!
-
They probably don't have serials, so don't bother with dismantling.
-
So I stopped being lazy and decided to grab my pc-fx out of storage and looked at the serial number for this...
4X04393YA
If I feel up to it later I will run that program on it as well...
-
My PC-FX's serial number is 5104438YA.

Alright, I hooked up the system to the tv and ran your disc... the screen ends with 0001048576
There is no line for the md5...
Here is a link to the pic: http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f369/TruMisery/100_0179.jpg

You have to press Select and wait a few seconds for the MD5 stuff to be calculated and appear.
