Are you talking about the PCE version? I haven't picked it up yet, but you should be able to follow a faq for the SNES version. Here's an excerpt concerning warp magic from gamefaqs:
There seems to be a secret in Area 1 where you find the Master Keys. Once you get them, move up once and examine the floor ahead. Look odd right? Use a Steel Ball to show a pit. Jump into the pit, don't walk in it and you will take yourself to the rest of Area 1's Basement, where you find the Sound Room and a Warp Magic. The Warp Magic is a must have so find it before you leave Ruins Basement Floor or you'll regret it very much!

If I understand correctly, this PSP Brandish, is a remake of the original(IE: the Turbo & SNES Brandish 1).
