In 2 days and a few hours it went from .99 cents to almost $2,100. More than likely will be nabbed by a reseller, but some DAMN fine titles involved.

Droolworth collection. I'll be surprised if the seller doesn't pull the listing before it ends. If it does run its course, I'll guess that some nutter will get it up over $10000. I guess that really ain't that bad, considering it's still only a bit over an average of $20 each.
-
WOW!
-
Hope the winner is someone who'll open them and play 'em!
-
That's an INSANE collection. Only for the extreme PCE collector :p
-
yeah..would like to have it :)
-
That looks like this clown, that popped up here a few years back for like 5 minutes:

His list is even formatted exactly the same.
-
Guess that seller is looking for a retirement fund :P
-
And here is the list a year later.

Ha ha it looks like he even replied to himself if it is truly the same guy (which it likely is).
-
That's a damn fine collection there. =P~
-
It's at 5.8K now :(
-
$12,395.71 CAD
-
$10,100...an over $4000 jump in less than an hour...WOW
-
Good grief. I was tempted to bid when it was 1/3 that price, but now it's just ludicrous, *especially* with the bidding history being private.
-
I don't know anyone who can afford to invest that much in a retro-games hobby. If I had that kind of money I'd be paying back student loans or finally taking a honeymoon.
-
it's less a question of the amount, but more of the time span in which it have to be payed. to bang an easy cash of $15'000+ on the table at once is different to paying the same money over 15 years.

Agreed. And, IMHO, it's much for fun to amass a collection over time and watch it grow, than to just plunk down money on an insta-collection. Even if I was millionaire, I would collect over time. It's just more fun that way. That being said, I can't say I'm not somewhat envious of that collection of games. =P~ hehe
-
Haha: "The seller ended the listing early and cancelled all bids."
-
Why go thru all the effort just to puss out at the end. So much for one of his answers to a question onthere. "Let auction take it's course, won't end early." Blah blah blah
-
lol..just as expected and welcome to teh last year, and that year before teh last year etc...
-
Haha: "The seller ended the listing early and cancelled all bids."
Just as I'd figured; the douche just wanted some attention and wanted to know what his collection was worth. What a f*cking ass clown.

The bidding was at $12,000 with private bids. There might have been 0 feedback bidders bidding up the stuff and he had to relist it.

If that were the case, then he could've just canceled bids from those with insufficient or negative feedback (he's been closely following the bidding as evidenced by the asked and answered questions). Any way you look at it, there wasn't an "error in the minimum bid or reserve amount" and I seriously doubt that this auction will reappear..... unless it's about a year from now.
-
What a cock-garage.
-
unless it's about a year from now.
 so it will be! keeping up some traditionals.
-
Yeah, I meant at once, not over, like, many many years.
Geez, this dude's obviously some kinda nutcase. And with that many sealed games he obviously isn't playing much.
