Now it would be very wise for farmers to not feed their animals scraps of Popeye's chicken or else their french horn tactics would have their life savings taxed. :o

Well, they should. Animal flatulence is a bigger contributor to global warming that cars are. And there are other negatives to mega-farms. For example, its absolutely amazing how much ecological damage can be done by a farm that produces 400 million tons of pig shit.
Its really hard to get people to get rid of their stupid SUVs. Getting them to kick beef will be even harder.

Zeta is right, farm animals are the leading cause of global warming in the U.S. . However, some farms are recycling the shit to power their farms. lol. Ya, you read that right. So at least their is some sort of good coming from the shit.

If they would stop feeding their animals absolute shit food, then this wouldn't be an issue to begin with.

Yeah; part of the reasons why raising cows makes sense is that they eat grass (which we can't eat) and convert it into things we can eat (milk and meat) - but since most of 'em eat nothing but corn these days, it doesn't make sense anymore.

Follow the money trail: more cows = more profits, but more land = more taxes, so find a way to put more cows on less land: ooh, let's feed them CORN (hey, it's natural like grass, right?) and stuff them into buildings which require far less land. Yay! Consequences? Pfft...that's the other guy's problem!
