If anyone's got that ear for various titles, plunk down some. Right now these are all I can think of...
SET 1
-------
Psycho Chaser
Override
Naxat Stadium (Could this be from the same person who did Override's BGM? Cause most of the more upbeat tunes on Naxat Stadium have the same rhythm structure as Override)
SET 2 (There's something about these soundtracks, it's basically an 8-bit NES/Famicom sound except with an extra channel added_
------
Burning Angels
Barunba
SET 3 (The "FACE" sound)
------
Metal Stoker
Time Cruise/Time Cruise II
-
jackie chan & final soldier

Air Zonk and Coryoon belong there with 1943. It was actually the same guy/team that did the music in those games.
-
Any games by Alice have an extremely distinct sound quality to them. They're more wavey-sounding, very different from other PCE games.
-
Can you explain what maker "Alice" is?
Do you mean Atlus? If that's the case, then it's because the composer/sound engineer for most Atlus games was Masuko "Macco" Tsukasa. Many games of his share a similar sound:
Dungeon Explorer
Legendary Axe II (is it by him? One wonders about pseudonyms...)
Maniac Pro Wrestling
Tatsujin
Kyukyoku Tiger
PC Genjin 1
...
Quiz Marugoto the World is also probably by him, and what about Lady Sword (even though it's Games Express) and Mesopotamia? What do you guys think?
-
Doraemon and Momotaro Katsugeki always sound similar to my ears.
I think Keranu might have meant Face.
-
-Dungeon Explorer 2
-Cotton
Anyway this thread is about PC Engine music yet it is in the TurboGrafx section and the TurboGrafx has nothing to do with the PC Engine so I must move this thread to the PC Engine section. This is why we have two sections, to keep mass confusion like this from happening!

What is this TurboGrafx thing anyway? I thought the site was called PCEngineFX.com! I think you should lock that whole forum Joe.

There's a certain kind of sound, or maybe more of an effect that I love that some Konami NES games have a bit of. Some TG-16/PCE games have a stronger version of it. Two off the top of my head are Neutopia and JJ & Jeff/KC&KC. Hearing it in Neutopia back before I got my first TG-16 really made me appreciate the Turbo's unique sound compared to the Genesis.

Awesome. :)

Yes, Face is the company! I always call them Alice for some reason, must be because of the Alice In Wonderdream game they made.

Compare the Doraemon Arabian Nights music to the music from the Bonk games
-
Another pair I know of...
Tiger Road and War of the Dead

CyberKnight uses the exact same drum samples form Blazingz Lazerz
