Ok, so I'm currently playing Super Real Mahjong P V for Saturn. I'm actually getting good enough to win a lot of the time . My problem is, in the options menu- there's some diff options and I'd like to know what they meant. Japanese dictionaries don't seem to make any sense, at least not in line with it being a game. This is what the screen looks like.
Level****************** 1,2,3,etc
Fuku *********************** Gives option of Kiru or Kinai
Kuitan ********************** Gives option of Ari or Nashi
Sound Test
etc....
Here's some pics:

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dunno mahjong, but reading them in context...
fuku - clothes
kiru/kinai - wear/don't wear.
kuitan -- no idea on this one. Maybe a mahjong specific word?
ari/nashi, in this case, take it to be on/off (it literally means exist/not exist).

ah ha! Thank you very much. I just tried the options out- i don't see anything different lol. Weird. ALthough, i'm kinda confused about the rank selection (1-8). It's always hard ](*,)
